When two new ADUs on one North Hollywood lot were finished, LADWP's system returned the interconnection request five times as address not found. Cali Energy set each dwelling up as its own service, filed one request per home, and both had permission to operate by 11 June 2025.
LADBS treats the panel as a job of its own: a second permit and a second inspection, even when one crew does the panel and the solar in a day. On two North Hollywood houses in August 2019 we carried both permits on each, and both houses passed their finals by 30 August, one of them with both permits closed in a single visit.
