Solar repair: how we do it →On a Chatsworth clay S-tile roof in January 2026 we stripped seventeen squares of tile and underlayment where the array would sit, laid synthetic underlayment and a cool-roof-approved shingle matched to the tile's color, and reset the original tile around it, so the attachments sit on shingle while the house still reads as a tile roof. The roof penetrations are covered by our workmanship warranty in writing, and the system had permission to operate in February 2026.
