Cali Energy is a REC Certified Solar Professional. REC panels we install carry the REC ProTrust warranty, 25 years. REC Alpha and Alpha Pure modules are on our roofs in Chatsworth, Northridge, North Hollywood and Canoga Park, and REC 370 W modules in Santa Clarita.
REC's ProTrust warranty, 25 years on REC panels, comes with installation by a REC Certified Solar Professional, which Cali Energy is. We install REC Alpha and Alpha Pure modules across Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley, on shingle and tile roofs, and carry every system through the permit to permission to operate.
Why the installer matters for a REC warranty

How we build a REC system
- Design around your bill and your roof, with REC modules laid out plane by plane.
- Electronics under each module. On our REC projects in Northridge, Chatsworth and Canoga Park a microinverter sits under every module, so each module reports on its own.
- Permit and plans with LADBS or your city, and the HOA where there is one: in Santa Clarita the HOA approval ran alongside the permit.
- Installation under our C-10 and C-39 licenses, with every mount flashed into the roof.
- Commissioning: every module and microinverter counted and producing before handover. In Northridge that was twenty-four of twenty-four.
- Permission to operate from your utility, and the REC warranty registered.
REC systems we have installed

24 REC Alpha Pure 400 W modules, every microinverter confirmed producing, permission to operate at 8.38 kW AC-CEC.
The condensers were there first. The array went around them.
32 REC Alpha 370 W modules designed around rooftop AC units, 11.84 kW DC, permission to operate in January.
Every tile came off. Then the array went on.
REC Alpha Pure-RX 460 W over a relaid tile roof, seven weeks from the first call to permission to operate.
Twenty-two modules. Twenty-two reporting.
22 REC Alpha 370 W modules, each microinverter detected and counted before handover.
Santa Clarita: the association review ran alongside everything else.
19 REC 370 W modules, 7.03 kW, the HOA approval run alongside the permit, permission to operate about five weeks after the contract.

Yes. In Canoga Park the flat concrete tile was lifted and relaid over new underlayment, and REC Alpha Pure-RX modules went on top, seven weeks from the first call to permission to operate.
