Encino housing runs from mid-century homes, with a median build year of 1956 across the 10,275 single-family homes in ZIP codes 91316 and 91436, to new construction, and Cali Energy has put solar on both. On one new Encino house the handover package included a map tying every microinverter's serial number to its position on the roof, delivered the day after the final in June 2022.
LADWP's meter spot sheet can set conditions for the service equipment itself. On a 2018 Encino job it called for a 22,000-amp interrupt rating at the service, a clear and level working space in front of it and three feet between the electrical and the gas; we checked the equipment against all three, and the system was switched on in January 2019.
