The pattern across our work here is too consistent to be a coincidence — and it is better discovered in the quote than at inspection.

That is not upselling — it is the housing stock. Residents have lived alongside it for decades — and lived through the conversations about its emissions that followed. Whatever one’s view of the plant, it makes the case for rooftop solar unusually concrete in this district: every kilowatt-hour generated on a Sun Valley roof is one the neighbourhood does not need from the turbines down the street.
The practical rules are the same as everywhere in the city — LADWP credits exports at the retail rate, LADBS issues the permit — but the motivation here tends to be more grounded than abstract.
